Ingredients

  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Mug
  • Distilled Water

Instructions

  1. Fill a 12-15 ounce mug filled with hot water and add the juice of 1/2 a lemon.
  2. Always use a fresh lemon; never use bottled lemon juice.
  3. Organic lemons are best.
  4. Also, boiling water will kill the nutrients in the lemon, so bring your water to a boil and let it cool 2 minutes in the mug before adding the lemon.
  5. Drink first thing in the morning after you brush your teeth.
  6. Be aware that citric acid can erode tooth enamel. Rinse your mouth with purified water after you finish your lemon water.
  7. You should wait at least one hour after you wake up before you eat breakfast. This time allows your body to detox.
